Take a Break...at the ALPLM!
Hosted in the Library's Lincoln Reception Room, treat your guests to a one-hour afternoon snack break during your meeting, tour, convention, or visit.
We offer two menus below for you and your guests, along with a Museum admission. The minimum number of guests is 20 people.
While you are visiting the Library, we encourage you to visit the Museum. Consider adding on one of our daytime additional features to make the experience even more special.

Reservation Information
Take a Break reservations are offered Monday through Friday based on availability. Reservations are accepted up to one year in advance of a Take a Break date. The minimum number of guests is 20 people.
MAKE A RESERVATION: To make a Take a Break reservation, contact the Facilities Rental Office at 217/558-8873 or alplm.rentevents@illinois.gov. Our staff will send you a Take a Break confirmation letter and payment form.
CONFIRMATION: Confirm your reservation by sending back within 15 business days of the verbal reservation the signed Confirmation Letter and paying a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the Reserved Guest Count (number of guests attending the tea). Deposit and final payment may be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover) or corporate check (payable to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundation).
Payment of the remaining balance is due seven days before the event date at which time the final guest count is due. NOTE: The minimum number of Break guests is 20 people. If attendance falls below 20 people, the group will be charged for 20 people.
CANCELLATION: If it is necessary to cancel a Take a Break reservation, we ask for written notice 30 days before the Take a Break date. The group will lose the 25% deposit.
