Major General John Borling - Vietnam War

Major General John Borling was the deputy director of operations at STRACOS, Headquarters, Strategic Air Command (SAC) at Offutt Air Force Base, in Nebraska, during Operation Desert Storm (First Gulf War) in January, 1991. General Borling was instrumental in coordinating SAC's role in Desert Storm into the larger air war. Both SAC B-52s and air refuelers were involved in the Desert Storm air campaign.
